The first ever job Sigmund did as a studio musican was in 1969, as contributor to Vestlandsduoen, consisting of folk singer Ivar Medaas and his wife, Kari. The album was called Dar kjem duoen and was recorded at Roger Arnhoff Studio, with comedians Yngvar Numme as producer and Øyvind Klingberg as arranger.
